A “SMART Goal” is a strategy that will help you to dissect your goal into measurable metrics. For example, a SMART Goal would be, “Our team would like to consistently increase our monthly revenue of our Spirit Box by 5% before the end of May through increasing our marketing efforts by creating social media accounts for our Spirit Box. The additional funds will go towards our DECA programming.”

Contingency Planning & Risk Management
This has been a very uneasy year with the growth of COVID19. Our country is slowly filling with more anxiety around the spread of this virus; anxiety for our health and for our economy. As business owners, for the health of our business, we must have a plan of action for how we keep our business afloat during a time like this. Specifically, for a Spirit Box business, many schools are extending breaks as well as moving to remote teaching for the rest of the semester. What can your team do during this time of uncertainty? A great start is to create a contingency plan.
